Job Description

Located out of our Calgary Office, the individual in the Analyst, Community and Stakeholder position will report to the Team Lead, Community Investment and Engagement. The successful candidate will be responsible for the efficient execution of community and stakeholder engagement activities throughout the field operating areas. This role requires excellent collaboration with teams across the company including Indigenous Relations, Sustainability, Communications and all business unit staff.

Key Activities and Responsibilities

•    Plan, schedule and coordinate community and stakeholder engagement activities across the field operating areas
•    Assist in development and execution of engagement strategies that align with IPL’s strategic vision and support business unit priorities
•    Collaborate with Indigenous Relations, Sustainability, Communications, and the business unit teams to align engagement activities with internal priorities 
•    Assist in maintaining relationships with key external communities and stakeholders to support long term relationships throughout IPL’s operating areas
•    Provide logistical and administrative support for all field office community investment committees and maintain strong relationships with field teams
•    Provide support for reporting requirements, payments and tracking for all community investment engagement activities
 

Education, Skills and Experience

•    Post-Secondary Degree or diploma in an industry related field such as Communications, Public relations, Human Resources. 
•    5-8 years of experience in a similar role
•    Proficient in Microsoft Excel
•    Experience in databases and social impact platforms
•    Experience in generating reports 
•    Excellent oral communication skills
•    Excellent written communication skills
•    Team player
•    Proactive
•    Strong organizational skills
 

Hours

Full time, Monday – Friday 
Occasional weekend work required 
30-40% travel required to various locations
