Job Description
Located out of our Calgary Office, the individual in the Coordinator, Community & Stakeholder position will report to the Team Lead, Community Investment and Engagement. The successful candidate will be responsible for the efficient execution of payment requests, budget tracking, input of monthly forecasting in SAP, administering volunteer events, tracking volunteer hours, and updating opportunities in the iCare Giving Platform as well as administering the Discovery Awards Bursary program.
Key Activities and Responsibilities
• Report Community Engagement spending, company matching and volunteer numbers quarterly to all Community Investment Committees, and update the quarterly Executive Briefing note with the Community Engagement information
• Assist with volunteer opportunity planning, promoting and attending, in partnership with the various teams across business units including field locations
• Manage the iCare Giving Platform, including updating opportunities, generating reports and creating content for spotlights.
• Assist the Team Lead in the management of the Community Investment budget, payments and monthly forecasting. Generate reports.
• Execute Discovery Award Bursary Program across the operating areas and work with the various schools (Application process, coordinate with schools, payments, etc.)
• In collaboration with the communications team and the community investment committees, assist in planning and implementing company wide giving campaigns and events throughout the year that will be hosted utilizing the iCare Giving Platform
• Provide support to the Indigenous Relations team when needed for community investment initiatives, volunteer opportunities, and cheque requests.
• Manage supply room inventory
Education, Skills and Experience
• Post-Secondary Degree or diploma in an industry related field such as Communications, Public relations, Human Resources.
• 2-3 years of experience in a similar role
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Experience in databases and social impact platforms
• Experience generating reports
• Excellent oral communication skills
• Excellent written communication skills
• Team player
• Proactive
• Strong organizational skills
Hours
Full time, Monday – Friday
Occasional weekend work required
25-30% travel required to various locations
