Job Description
Located out of our Calgary office, this 1 year contract position will report to the Interim Supervisor, HR Systems & Analytics. The Senior Analyst supports and enhances our HR technologies including SuccessFactors and Cornerstone LMS (SBX).
The position will be in our corporate head office in the heart of downtown Calgary, close to the business core and natural attractions of Prince’s Island Park and the Bow River Pathway System. Our space offers employees a great work environment which promotes physical and mental wellness. Primarily, work will be completed in a dedicated cubicle and shared meeting rooms.
Key Activities and Responsibilities
· Work closely with HR, SCM and L&D to gather and prioritize enhancement requests
· Work closely with Compensation and Talent Management to configure and launch our annual processes including Performance, Calibration, Annual Compensation and Annual Policy Acknowledgments
· Estimate effort and execute enhancements using an agile sprint model in DevOps
· Work in tandem with our IT partners and external support vendors to complete enhancements
· System configuration and quality testing of new enhancements, including integrations
· Regression testing semi-annual SAP and Cornerstone system releases
· End user support
· Ad hoc data analysis and reporting
· Identify process improvements and make recommendations for efficiency wins
· Uphold the HRIS and LMS system governance including data integrity and security
Education, Skills and Experience
· 3 to 5 years of experience supporting and configuring SuccessFactors
· Experience with Cornerstone LMS (SBX, formerly SABA) is an asset
· Experience with Power BI is an asset
· Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Information Systems Management, Business Analysis, Human Resources or a related field
· Familiarity with HR processes and best practices
· Meticulous attention to detail
· Strong analytical and data interpretation skills
· Excellent communication and collaboration skills
· Ability to work with a customer-service style of systems support
· Ability to use critical thinking when determining the value and sustainability of system change
Hours
1 Year Fixed Term Contract
Standard M-F daily 8 hour schedule
As this position is identified security sensitive, employment of a final candidate will be conditional upon completion of pre-employment criminal background check assessment with satisfactory results.
