Description

We are seeking an ambitious student to join the Community Investment & Engagement team in our Calgary office. Reporting to the Team Lead, Community Investment & Engagement, the successful candidate will assist with day-to-day administrative and logistical activities, gaining exposure to community outreach, industry relations, and employee volunteering programs.

Key Activities and Responsibilities

•    Assist with administration and logistics for Inter Pipeline’s Community Engagement Program including many Industry Relations, Community Outreach and Employee Volunteering programs
•    Assist in managing and driving community investment vehicle to attend 10+ community events throughout Alberta and Saskatchewan
•    Maintaining and tracking program (s) inventory and assist with budget tracking.
•    File maintenance of events, including photos of events
•    Writing articles and community investment updates for internal distribution
•    Support program reporting and Benevity database management

Education, Skills and Experience

  • First-year student enrolled in post-secondary education with preference given to students enrolled in Natural Resources, Public Relations, Business or Communications
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driver's abstract 
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
  • Able to lift and perform manual labour

Hours

May 4, 2026 – August 28, 2026, fulltime

 

Must be available to work weekends, excluding most long weekends


As this position is identified as safety and security sensitive, employment of a final candidate will be conditional upon completion of pre-employment medical, drug/alcohol, drivers abstract, employment verification and criminal background check assessments with satisfactory results.
