Description

Ready to kick-start your finance career? Inter Pipeline is hiring a finance student to join our Transportation FP&A team in downtown Calgary. This is your chance to gain hands-on experience with a world-scale energy infrastructure company. You’ll work alongside likeminded finance professionals supporting decisions making—while contributing to initiatives that drive value.

Key Activities and Responsibilities

•    Support in generating various reports (such as Actuals vs. Budget and Forecast), analyze data and coordinate with other groups to identify trends and insights
•    Assist other team members in responding to enquiries on existing reports /data and reconciliation of finance reports in a timely manner
•    Assist with budget SAP input and validation 
•    Support in maintaining up to date documentation, tracking and communicating project status and prepare presentation materials for internal meetings
•    Ad-Hoc tasks as needed

Education, Skills & Experience

•    Post‑secondary student currently enrolled in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related discipline who is currently enrolled in their 3rd year of studies or greater, and will be returning to studies immediately following the work term
•    Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including but not limited to Excel
•    Ability to work independently, and as part of a team
•    Strong communication and organizational skills
•    Manage expectations and prioritize work-based requirements
•    Exceptional analytical and problem solving
•    Strong attention to detail and ability to perform critical self-reviews, and
•    Continuous improvement mindset
•    Experience in a corporate office, considered an asset

Hours

Monday- Friday, full-time (8 hours per day) 

 

May 4, 2026- December 31, 2026 

 

As this position is identified as security sensitive, employment of a final candidate will be conditional upon completion of pre-employment criminal background check assessments with satisfactory results.
